Wir freuen uns, endlich unsere Freunde von PRINTSHOP UNION einzuladen, die sich für uns entschieden haben, um ihre neuesten Siebdruckplakate zu zeigen.
Für alle, die sie noch nicht kennen: PRINTSHOP UNION ist ein Gemeinschaftsprojekt, das 2011 vom Künstlerduo Monkey & Aargh gegründet wurde.
Monkey kommt aus dem Graffiti und war Mitglied der CBS Crew. Aargh hat verschiedene Filmmonster gespielt. Um diesem Klischee zu entkommen, hatte er mehrere Jobs, unter anderem als Tierpfleger im Berliner Zoo.
Ihre Zusammenarbeit begann mit gemeinsam gemalten Leinwänden, doch mit den Jahren wurde ihr Arbeitsfeld breiter und umfasst heute Objekte, Installationen, Performance und Videokunst. Ihre Arbeiten beziehen sich oft auf ihre Rollen in der Gesellschaft, auf Popkultur-Phänomene und berühmte Figuren.

We are happy to finally invite our Friends from PRINTSHOP UNION as they choosed us to show their newest Silkscreen Posters.
For those who don't know them yet The PRINTSHOP UNION is a collaborative project founded in 2011 by the artist duo Monkey & Aargh.
Monkey has a background in graffiti and used to be a member oft the CBS crew. Aargh has played a variety of movie monsters. In an attempt to escape this cliché he worked several jobs, including as a zookeeper in the Berlin Zoo.
Their collaboration started by painting canvases together but over the years their field of work got wider and now includes objects, installations, performance and video art. Their works often relate to their roles in society, pop culture phenomena, and famous characters.

Nous sommes heureux d'inviter enfin nos amis de PRINTSHOP UNION, qui nous ont choisis pour montrer leurs dernières affiches en sérigraphie.
Pour ceux qui ne les connaissent pas encore : PRINTSHOP UNION est un projet collectif fondé en 2011 par le duo d'artistes Monkey & Aargh.
Monkey vient du graffiti et faisait partie du CBS crew. Aargh a joué divers monstres de cinéma. Pour échapper à ce cliché, il a enchaîné plusieurs boulots, notamment soigneur au zoo de Berlin.
Leur collaboration a commencé par des toiles peintes à quatre mains, mais au fil des années leur champ d'action s'est élargi aux objets, aux installations, à la performance et à l'art vidéo. Leurs œuvres parlent souvent de leur rôle dans la société, de phénomènes de la culture pop et de personnages célèbres.
